Classical Elegance also performs as a woodwind quintet with the addition of Fatma Daglar, oboe, and Anthony Valerio, french horn. The quintet performs for concerts and recitals for many events, which include music festivals, public concerts/recitals, and school events. Concert schedule to be posted soon.

Oboist FATMA DAGLAR  is Principal Oboist with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Maryland Symphony Orchestra, and has performed on oboe and english horn with the National Chamber Orchestra, The Melos Ensemble, Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, Arlington Symphony Orchestra, the Handel Choir of Baltimore, and is founding member of Jubal's Lyre, an early music ensemble based in Baltimore. Ms. Daglar recently performed and recorded with the Choral Arts Society of Washington at the Kennedy Center. As an accomplished soloist, Fatma Daglar performed as oboe soloist with the Peabody Camerata, as well as the Maryland Symphony and Annapolis Symphony Orchestras including a solo performance under the direction of her former oboe teacher, the late Sara Watkins. Ms. Daglar has performed concert tours in Japan and the United States with the Eastwinds Quintet and the American Wind Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Daglar received a Bachelor's Degree from the Istanbul Conservatory of Music and was awarded a scholarship from the Turkish Education Foundation to study in the United States where she acquired a Master's Degree and a Graduate Performance Diploma in Oboe Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music. Ms. Daglar is currently a faculty member of the Peabody Preparatory and the Holton-Arms School. By music critics of the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun, and the Annapolis Capital, Ms. Daglar's playing has been described as: "a concerto performance of virtuoso caliber, enthusiastically received", "a dexterous technician with attractive tone and a nifty sense of phrasing", "touching, bittersweet tone", "terrific", " well-rounded tone with a beautiful vibrato", "extraordinary playing". Hornist ANTHONY VALERIO, a native Annapolitan, has performed as 2nd Horn with the U.S. Naval Academy Band and Hornist with the USNA Brass Quintet since 1989. In addition, Mr. Valerio performs as 4th Horn with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and is an active free-lance musician, working with various orchestral and chamber ensembles in the region, including the Bayfield Brass, of which he is the founding member, and the Salisbury Symphony, where he is Principal Horn. Mr. Valerio received a Bachelor of Music degree from West Virginia University and a Master of Music degree from the Peabody Conservatory of Music. Mr. Valerio is a faculty member of the Peabody Preparatory and is adjunct professor of horn at St. Mary's College of Maryland and Anne Arundel Community College. In his spare time Anthony enjoys weightlifting, sailing, and other sports, as well as spending time with his wife, Kim, his parents, and other family in the Annapolis area.  tony@classicalelegance.com
